Job Description:

Your technical skills can make a difference. Join the DHHS Asset Management Team as an IT Applications Developer/senior and help deliver reliable technology solutions, actionable reporting, and enterprise support services that keep critical operations running efficiently.

This is an on-site role in Lincoln, Nebraska. Not eligible to be a contracted position.


- - The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services does not sponsor or transfer non-immigrant work visas for these positions or accept STEM OPT (form i-983) at any time. - -

Examples of Work:

  • Develop reports
  • Maintain and update SharePoint sites
  • Support all DHHS users with hardware requirements as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience, education, or training in coding computer applications; programming experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years with Power BI
  • 1–2 years with Python
  • 2-3 years with C#

Other: Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln. No remote/hybrid work.
